and having examined the drawings and other documents referred to therein do hereby offer to execute and
complete in accordance with the conditions of contract the whole of the works described for the sum(s) stated
below:-
OPTION 1 Fully compliant bid for completed works as tender (to be completed by all Tenderers)
for the VAT exclusive sum of two million, seven hundred and sixty four thousand, eight hundred and five pounds and nineteen pence.
and within (23) calendar weeks from the date of possession of the site.

Exclusions
01
We have excluded any Metal Column Casings to the Lower Ground floor as the drawings are unclear - we have included padded column protectors where shown.

We have made no allowance for the movement of any manholes or drainage in the lower ground floor as the existing slab is a waterproof construction and any modifications would invalidate the warranty.

We have assumed the slab has been strengthened in the areas of the mezzanines and we have made no allowance for same.

We have allowed for the Tanking detail to wall tiling to 2.4m on Lower Ground Only We have used an alternative Roller Shutter Door Supplier for all of the roller shutters with the exception of the high speed door.

We have not allowed for convex mirrors to MOT Bay We assumed that BREEAM is included in the 15% fees

We have not made any allowances for applied DPM to concrete slabs as we have assumed the RH will be at the required level to suit all floor finishes.

We have based our price on the assumption that the design team will be novated - and we will be provided with copies of the consultants' appointments together with an acceptable worded novation agreement .

We have excluded terrorism cover at this stage

We have included for the following secondary steelwork items: Steelwork trims to escalator void (as per drawings), All SHS and bracketry for the general staircase balustrading (as per drawings)

Quality Management
Our Quality System fully meets the requirements of ISO9001:2008, ISO18001 and ISO14001. The application of this Quality Management System covers all aspects of our business and is administered by the Systems Manager. The Quality Management System has been developed in accordance with British Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2004 and applies to all Projects carried out by the company. Registration of the company’s Quality Systems applies to the activities and locations of the organisation identified on registration documents.
SE5 team members will champion responsibility and ensure that both the client’s and design team’s expectations are met. It is important to employ the right subcontractor, giving him sufficient time and the right environment to undertake his work and manage this from start to finish ensuring that the finished work is completed to the highest standard. SE5 Construction appreciates that first impressions count for everything, and we will ensure that only the best materials, installed by the most competent contractors are used for this project. We are committed to achieving the highest quality end product that will deliver the ‘wow’ factor desired and deserved by our client. We propose to utilise tried and tested procedures with some new initiatives, managed by staff with a proven track record of delivering quality products. We will carry out validation exercises throughout the procurement and construction phases to ensure that the highest quality is achieved, thus enabling us to provide a ‘defect-free’ end product to our client.
